Well, we couldn’t just have a ‘normal’ manifesto, could we? As humans come in diverse forms we thought this should be represented in the structure of our manifesto. We thought we’d capture what we’re about in different ways, through image and verse. For more personal information check out our About Us page, or for the real nuts and bolts stuff, look at our Core Aims.
Nott Normal (in Haiku)
We are not normal –
Nothing natural ever is,
We create to live.
Nott Normal (in Triolet)
We’re ‘Nott Normal’, we’re extraordinary,
For we each use these barriers we face
To break down boundaries in our loved city,
We’re ‘Nott Normal’, we’re extraordinary
As we combine our creativity,
Making Nottingham an inclusive place,
We’re ‘Nott Normal’, we’re extraordinary,
For we each use these barriers we face.
Nott Normal (in Zanze form)
Not normal; for none want to be
Limited; mainstream or the same;
We believe in diversity,
Escape from the shackled mundane,
Not normal, for none could
Fit such narrow labels,
Broader inclusion would
Chart the incredible
Not normal, none
Fit in that box,
We have begun
To unpick locks;
Knots; norms;
Conformity,
We’ll wheel on roads less worn,
Not normal, for none could want to be!
We are Nott Normal
forming a diverse community.
